Speaking
Book Liana to speak
Liana Grigory, also written Liana Grigoryan, is an entrepreneur, software engineer and United States Army veteran in Los Angeles. She is the founder and chief executive of Grigoryan Capital Group LLC, and she builds the products herself — three from an empty repository to a running business, two of them through App Store and Google Play review. She speaks about what that actually takes.
Signature talks
The Technical Co-Founder Playbook
Why she takes equity instead of an invoice — nothing upfront, no retainer, nothing at all if the business does not work — and how that filter changes which companies get built. For founder audiences and anyone hiring technical leadership.
Security Below the Application
Per-tenant isolation enforced at the database layer, role-based access that cannot be self-granted, and building care platforms against HIPAA's technical safeguards. A permission check that lives only in the interface is a suggestion, not a control.
Shipping to Both App Stores Alone
One codebase to iOS and Android with Capacitor — certificates, provisioning, store listings and review, done solo. Most products never survive that last mile.
AI That Doesn't Get to Decide What's True
Running production AI on edge inference with deterministic guardrails: audits count real faults, payroll maths is arithmetic against published tables, never inference. An AI that invents a problem is worse than no AI.
From Sergeant to Founder
What a nineteen-person call centre operation led to first place across an entire organization teaches about building companies: planning before acting, verifying rather than assuming, and finishing what was started.
Formats
Keynotes (20–45 minutes), panels, podcast guest appearances, and working sessions with founding teams. Talks are adapted to the audience — founders, engineers, operators, or veterans transitioning into tech.
